How does the voting system work?
The voting mechanism mirrors that of the Eurovision Song Contest, with 50% of the total votes derived from a jury and the remaining 50% from the audience.
The jury comprises representatives from eight countries, each contributing five members. Their collective vote accounts for half of the overall ranking.
The audience determines the remaining half. The song with the highest combined score from the international jury and audience votes will secure the coveted golden ticket to represent Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö.
When and how can you vote?
Voting will occur through a direct link provided on the official RTL website on Saturday evening. This link will redirect to a dedicated voting platform.
During the Luxembourg Song Contest, voting will be open during two time slots, each lasting a minimum of 15 minutes, as announced by the presenters during the live show.
General conditions
Votes can be cast from both Luxembourg and abroad. Each vote costs €0.99, requiring a valid credit card for participation. A maximum of up to 20 votes per registered credit card is allowed per round. Participants can distribute these votes to one song or allocate them to different songs.
