Pont Adolphe closed for filming? Yes, it's true! Everything was pre-arranged for this special shoot.

Indeed, this was a very special shoot specially organised for the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). Tali, Luxembourg's entry for this year's Eurovision Song Contest, received special permission to play her piano on the bridge — which was closed off to traffic from 2 to 4am.

Read, set, go!

Filming began at 2am, but extensive preparations were necessary beforehand, particularly to close off the street and set up all the necessary electronics and material. For the technical crew, this was quite the challenge. Everything needed to be set up and dismantled within two hours, while also filming within that time-frame.

For Tali and for everyone involved this was quite a long and exciting night that started way before the shooting. Hair, makeup, outfit — everything had to be flawless, but nerves also played a part, Tali revealed. Performing outdoors was a new experience for the young but seasoned musician. She wasn't exactly sure how it would turn out, but in the end, everything went smoothly and everyone left feeling triumphant.

Tune in tonight at 7pm on TV for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the making of this shoot!

On 7 May, Tali Golgerant will represent the Grand Duchy in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, Sweden, with her song "Fighter." The song was adjusted and revamped so that it would fit perfectly with the staging on that day.

By 29 March, all final versions of the ESC participants' songs should be available on streaming platforms. However, there was an additional development for Tali, with an acoustic version of her song recorded just last night.
The semi-finals, scheduled for 7 and 9 May, as well as the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 on 11 May, will be broadcast live on RTL.
