In a departure from last year's acoustic session on Pont Adolphe, Laura Thorn is putting an industrial spin on her Eurovision entry with a visually striking video filmed amid the towering blast furnaces of Belval.

In 2024, the Pont Adolphe in Luxembourg City was closed to accommodate the filming of Tali's music video. This year, however, the iconic blast furnaces at Belval took centre stage as the backdrop for Laura Thorn's music video shoot for her ESC entry.

Once again, the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has requested that all participating artists record an alternate version of their contest song. Last year, Tali opted for an acoustic rendition of her ESC track "Fighter", filmed on the historic Pont Adolphe. For Thorn's song, "La poupée monte le Son," the creative team selected the industrial setting of the blast furnaces in Belval.

Despite chilly conditions, Thorn and the entire Luxembourg ESC team successfully executed a unique video shoot at Halle des poches à fonte. Working into the night, they aimed to craft a special video clip for both Eurovision enthusiasts and Thorn's fans ahead of ESC 2025.

Those eager to see how Thorn reimagined her song will need to wait a little longer. The video is set to premiere in the coming weeks on the official Eurovision social media platforms. As a teaser, Thorn's special version will feature an "electronic" twist.
