Eurovision Song Contest pre-parties are organised every year across Europe in some of the most famous metropolises, including Madrid, London, and Amsterdam.

These Eurovision Song Contests pre-parties not only measure the enthusiasm of the public, but they are also an ideal warm-up for both the artist and the audience who can't wait for their final live show. In part, these shows also reveal who has the potential to win the 2025 edition. It's an ideal training scenario for the semi-finals on 13 and 15 May, and the final on 17 May.

One of the main venues unfortunately had to cancel its show this year: The organisers of the pre-party in Barcelona announced with great regret at the beginning of March that the event could not be realised due to security concerns. Their hands were tied by officials and they referred fans to other venues – Oslo, Amsterdam, London, and Madrid.

Second edition of Nordic Eurovision Party

While Madrid has usually been the starting point for the ESC pre-parties, last year a new venue has kicked off the parties with great success, the Nordic Eurovision Party.

The second edition of the Nordic Eurovision Party takes place a month earlier, namely on 22 March in Oslo. The event was previously known as the Nordic Music Celebration, but seems to be developing as a pre-party venue, with the goal to become a permanent part of the pre-party list.

PrePartyES 2025

While Barcelona isn't happening, Madrid will still bring serious festival vibes with its wicked three-day pre-party, running between 17-19 April. It takes place at the Sala La Riviera. Sounds like a weekend in paradise.

Luxembourg's candidate Laura Thorn is one of this year's participants and will entertain the Spanish public with her song, La poupée monte le son, on 19 April, alongside numerous other ESC 2025 competitors.

LEP2025 London Eurovision Party

Wondering who started the Eurovision pre-party tradtiion? Surprisingly, it wasn't Switzerland, where the very first edition of Eurovision was held in 1956, but Britain. The concept of the pre-parties originated in London and in 2008 the first ESC party was also organised there.

Over 25 acts from this year are expected to perform at London's party, LEP2025 on 13 April, including Laura Thorn.

Eurovision In Concert in Amsterdam

Likely the biggest ESC pre-party is being held in Amsterdam. Fans from Europe but also Australia and other parts of the world flock to the Dutch capital to celebrate their love of ESC. Most of this year's contestants will be performing, including Laura Thorn. The event takes place at AFAS Live which is one of the largest venues in the Netherlands and most modern event venues in Europe.

While Barcelona’s absence will be felt this year, the variety and energy of the remaining pre-parties will maintain the exciting build-up to Eurovision 2025. For all pre-party details, line-ups, and ticket info, check out the official event pages.
