Luxembourg's Eurovision hopeful Laura Thorn made her first major appearance at Amsterdam's "Eurovision in Concert" last weekend.

With the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 drawing closer, Luxembourg's representative Laura Thorn has taken the stage at one of the event's most anticipated pre-parties – "Eurovision in Concert" (EiC) in Amsterdam.

Held at the AFAS Live Arena, EiC has been a staple of the Eurovision calendar since 2009, when fans first organised it to promote the contest to a broader audience. These pre-parties offer fans an early glimpse of competing artists and give performers a chance to test their songs live a month before the main event.

This year's edition drew around 6,000 attendees, marking the largest crowd Thorn has ever performed for. The 25-year-old singer expressed delight at seeing Luxembourgish flags in the audience and hearing fans sing along to her entry, La poupée Monte le Son.

"People were on fire!" Thorn said after her set.

Our colleagues from RTL Télé also had a chance to speak with representatives from other countries, many of whom praised Luxembourg's entry as catchy and fun – some even improvising their own renditions in different languages.

Thorn will next perform at two more pre-parties: the London Eurovision Party this weekend and PrePartyES in Madrid a few days later. EiC remains the largest of these events, setting the stage for the competition ahead.
