Laura Thorn is representing Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest with her song “La poupée monte le son.” She is accompanied by a delegation including Elisabeth Conter, the assistant head of delegation. In an interview, RTL.lu asked Elisabeth Conter the most prominent questions ahead of tonight’s event.
“Our chances are good, but nothing has been won yet and a lot of countries have received the same feedback as to the question whether they could win. It depends on how convincing our staging and performance is.”
“The internal feedback has been positive!”
“It’s all about the different nations’ stage creations and performances. It’s not only about the song, Eurovision is about delivering a show, a spectacle. Everything that happens around the song is just as important. People will see when Laura is on stage performing with the dancers, it’s not just her. A lot is happening around her. There will be dancing, that’s as much as I can say! There are also a few surprises to look forward too. We have to find the balance between revealing and hiding certain aspects of the act.”
