Saturday marks the day of the much-anticipated Luxembourg Song Contest (LSC) final, and your votes are needed to help decide who will go to Basel to represent the Grand Duchy in the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC).
The LSC follows the same voting procedures as the ESC, meaning the decision is equally split between an international jury and the public.
The jury consists of delegations from eight countries, with each having five members. Their vote will account for 336 points in the total score.
The public is responsible for the remaining 336. Both results are then combined and the song with the highest point tally takes the win:
Public voting takes place on esc.vote and starts as soon as the first act has presented their song. Voting is set to conclude approximately 20 minutes after the last act has performed.
People can vote from Luxembourg but also from abroad. Voters have to be above the age of 14.
Voters need to register a credit card as one vote costs €0.99. A maximum of five voting rounds, each consisting of a maximum of 20 votes, can be made per credit card account.
