A panel of industry experts and musicians will explore what makes a Eurovision-winning song stand out in an exclusive discussion featuring Luxembourg's 2025 candidate, Laura Thorn.

The event promises insights into the creative and strategic aspects of crafting a song for the world's biggest music contest.

Headlining the panel is Laura Thorn, Luxembourg’s winner of the 2025 Luxembourg Song Contest and official representative for Eurovision 2025 in Basel. A classically trained musician and performer, Thorn brings extensive experience in music education and performance, having competed in international competitions and participated in Eurovision Choir 2019.

Joining her are key members behind Luxembourg's 2025 Eurovision entry, La Poupée Monte le Son – composer and producer Julien Salvia, lyricist and music producer Ludovic-Alexandre Vidal, and music producer Christophe Houssin. The panel will delve into their creative process, from composition to live performance preparation.

Eric Lehmann, head of the Luxembourgish Eurovision delegation, will also take part, offering insights into Luxembourg's return to the contest and the selection process. With years of experience in Eurovision production and jury selection, Lehmann has played a pivotal role in shaping the country's participation.

Moderated by Lisa Burke, the discussion will provide an insider's look at what it takes to make an impact on the Eurovision stage. From songwriting to stage presence, attendees will gain valuable knowledge from those at the heart of Luxembourg's Eurovision resurgence.
